   Vale clarifies press reports Rio de Janeiro, April 30, 2026 – In response to the press report published today entitled “Vale is among potential buyers of Porto Sudeste,” Vale S.A. (“Vale” or the “Company”) clarifies that the assessment of potential investment opportunities is conducted in the ordinary course of its business and in accordance with its strategic priorities. The Company further clarifies that any decisions regarding capital allocation are subject to a rigorous evaluation process and are made in strict compliance with Vale’s governance policies and procedures. Vale reiterates that it will continue to keep the market duly and timely informed of any material fact arising from such evaluations or otherwise relating to its business.
