Explanatory Note

On September 19, 2024, Gorilla Technology Group Inc., a Cayman Islands exempted company (the “Company”), issued a press release announcing that the Company has closed transactions to repurchase approximately 1.1 million of its issued and outstanding ordinary shares from existing shareholders pursuant to a share buyback program.
