Item 8.01

Other Events.

On September 24, 2025, California Resources Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the pricing of its private offering of $400 million in aggregate principal amount of its 7.000% senior notes due 2034 at par. A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
