Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On May 30, 2023, the board of directors of Constellation Energy Corporation (“Constellation”) elected Mr. Dhiaa Jamil as a Class II director on the board of directors, effective as of June 12, 2023, to serve until the 2024 annual meeting of shareholders. Mr. Jamil was also appointed to serve on the Nuclear Oversight Committee of the Board. Mr. Jamil will receive Constellation’s standard compensation for its directors as disclosed in its proxy statement. A press release regarding the election of Mr. Jamil election was issued on May 31, 2023.
