Item 8.01 Other Events.
As previously announced, the shareholders of Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. V (formerly known as Maywood Acquisition Corp., the “Company”) approved the change of the Company’s name from “Maywood Acquisition Corp.” to “Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. V”, which change took effect on November 19, 2025.
In connection with such name change, the Company’s Class A ordinary shares, units, and rights will begin trading under the symbols “IPEX”, “IPEXU” and “IPEXR”, respectively, beginning on November 25, 2025. The CUSIP numbers of the Company’s securities will not change as a result of the name change.
